Airtel launches superfast broadband plan V-Fiber in Hyderabad

Bharti Airtel has introduced superfast broadband plan dubbed V-Fiber based on Vectorization technology for its customers in Hyderabad.

The launch of V-Fiber superfast broadband in the city follows a similar launch in Bhopal earlier in the week. Late December, Airtel launched V-Fiber in Ahmedabad and Pune.

As per the telecommunications giant, V-Fiber will help customers enjoy superfast data speeds as well as HD video streaming, large size file download and uploads using their wi-fi modem in multiple devices. Airtel said that customers can experience data speeds of up to 100 Mbps compared to their existing broadband plan.

Commenting on the Airtel V-Fiber launch in Hyderabad, Bharti Airtel Andhra Pradesh and Telangana CEO Venkatesh Vijayraghavan said: “We are delighted to bring ‘V-Fiber’ to our customers in Hyderabad, as part of our endeavour to deliver best-in-class broadband experience to users. With ‘V-Fiber’, we are all set to offer an altogether transformed experience on our future ready network to the digitally savvy homes.

“This solution offers a very quick and convenient upgrade to the customer. Our innovative myHome Rewards program and free voice calling facility will certainly add to the delight of Hyderabad’s Digital Homes.”

A green technology, V-Fiber would not need any new wiring or drilling to install at the customer’s home or office. Rather, one just has to upgrade the existing modem provided by Airtel to V-Fiber modem from the company.

The good news for Hyderabad Airtel broadband customers is that they can upgrade their existing broadband plans to V-Fiber at no additional monthly cost as per the company. Customers, in case of not being satisfied with the speed of their upgraded plan to V-Fiber will get a full refund within the first month of service.

V-Fiber plans start from Rs 650 with existing and new customers able to register request for the same on Airtel website.
