Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh inaugurates new Kendriya Vidyalaya Naya Raipur

New Kendriya Vidyalaya Naya Raipur : Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh inaugurated Kendriya Vidyalaya, a central government-controlled school in the state’s new administrative capital Naya Raipur on Saturday.

ANI has reported that Kedar Kashyap – the School Education Minister, Rajesh Munat – Minister of State for Public Works Department and other leaders also attended the Kendriya Vidyalaya opening function.

Dr Raman Singh while speaking on the occasion expressed satisfaction to audio and video methods helping students with their learning which he said had reduced the burden of school bags further.

The Chhattisgarh CM said that the Kendriya Vidyalaya Naya Raipur students will be motivated by pictures of Bharat Ratna and former India President APJ Abdul Kalam in the new central government school in the city.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Naya Raipur is expected to serve children living in Sector 27 and Sector 29 along with those from the neighbouring areas.

The new CBSE school in Naya Raipur had completed admissions from first to fifth classes for the 2017-18 educational year.

Presently, Kendriya Vidyalaya Naya Raipur has 40 seats in each class. The school administration is looking to increase it to 80 based on the interest it has gathered from a huge number of applications from parents seeking admissions for their kids.

The new Kendriya Vidyalaya in Naya Raipur is equipped with smart classes. It has all the modern amenities like LED, projector, CCTV cameras, computers along with musical instruments and sports kits to promote co-curricular activities among the students.
