Donald Trump daughter-in-law admitted to hospital after opening envelope with white powder

Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Vanessa Trump was hospitalized after she opened an envelope containing white powder.

Venessa Trump was immediately taken to a New York City hospital as a precautionary measure on Monday after she opened an envelope with white powder addressed to her husband.

Police said that a preliminary test was made on the paper and found that it was not dangerous powder.

Venessa Trump opened an envelope addressed to her husband at their midtown Manhattan apartment on Monday morning. She suddenly felt uneasiness and called 911 after she felt coughing and nauseous.

New York Police Department’s intelligence division and Secret Service agents detectives are investigating the matter.

Venessa Trump aged 40 was a model previously and she have five children with Donald Trump Jr and none of them were present at home at the time of the incident.

Police detectives and FBI agents investigated a threatening letter sent to Manhattan apartment of Donald Trump Jr’s brother Eric which also contained a white powder which was not dangerous in March 2016.

Envelopes with white powder were also sent to Trump Tower twice in 2016. Trump Tower served as Trump’s campaign headquarters.

White powder hoax attacks brings back fears as in 2001, letters containing deadly anthrax were mailed to news organizations and the two US senators’ offices. At that time, five people died of Anthrax.
