Donald Trump hints at going at war with North Korea

US President Donald Trump has dropped enough hints that the US is heading towards a war with North Korea when he said that talks with Pyongyang would yield nothing.

Trump’s statement comes a day after the US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson revealed that a direct line of communication has been established with North Korea. Rex Tillerson gave the impression that the US was actively exploring diplomatic talks to diffuse the tension in the Korea peninsula.

The US Secretary of State also said that the US had no intention to overthrow Kim Jong-un’s rule in North Korea as its Supreme Leader. However, Rex Tillerson also disclosed that Pyongyang showed a lack of interest in reciprocating to the US diplomacy.

In complete contrast to his Secretary of State, President Donald Trump asked Rex Tillerson to save his energy and that the US will do what has to be done, which clearly indicates an impending military strike on North Korea.

On Sunday, Donald Trump tweeted to disclose his present state of mind on the North Korea crises by saying: “I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man…”

Trump, who has been trading insults at the North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un had given him a new nickname – Rocket Man after the latter’s penchant to oversee a series of military rocket launches.

Although, Donald Trump did not elaborate on what he meant by “we’ll do what has to be done!” but there were enough hints that in a later tweet which dismiss any negotiations with the North Korean leader.

Trump said that being nice to “Rocket Man” hasn’t worked in 25 years, so why expect it to work now. He also took a dig at his predecessors saying – Bill Clinton, George W Bush and Barrack Obama had failed in dealing with North Korea during their reign but he would not fail like them.
