The Ghazi Attack trailer: A tale of a secret Indo-Pak war
Upcoming Bollywood war movie The Ghazi Attack trailer has been released and has already sparked a lot of interest with its content.
The Ghazi Attack actors are Baahubali Bhallaladeva Rana Daggubati and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles as well as the late Om Puri, Kay Kay Menon, Nassar, Atul Kulkarni and Rahul Singh.
Presented by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions, The Ghazi Attack deals with the story of an India-Pakistan war, fought in secret and whose heroes are unsung.
This upcoming Rana Daggubati Hindi movie is being promoted as India’s first war-at-sea film. Not much is known about this India-Pakistan war as the mission was classified. The Ghazi Attack story, an underwater tale revolves around how men aboard Indian submarine S-21 destroyed Pakistani submarine, PNS Ghazi.
One has to say that The Ghazi Attack trailer looks quite impressive and promises to give us a landmark film.
Coming back to history, the PNS Ghazi is said to have entered Indian waters with the objective of destroying INS Vikrant as well as taking over the Visakhapatnam Port back in 1971. The Ghazi Attack movie explores how an executive naval officer and his team remain underwater for 18 days as part of their mission.

This upcoming Bollywood 2017 movie is believed to be partially based on director Sankalp Reddy’s own book titled ‘Blue Fish’. Funded by PVP cinema and Matinee Entertainment, The Ghazi Attack release date is slated to be February 17 this year, and will be distributed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film will also be special since it would be among the last films of the legendary Om Puri.
It may be recalled that The Ghazi Attack first look was shared by the makers on Indian Navy Day, which is celebrated on December 4. Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice to the The Ghazi Attack as well.
Background of PNS Ghazi
During the Bangladesh war, INS Vikrant was deployed by India while Pakistan Navy had the long-range submarine named PNS Ghazi. It was primarily brought into picture to locate INS Vikrant. Later, it tried to mine the port of Visakhapatnam. The Indian Navy replied with INS Rajput. Ghazi eventually sank, rather mysteriously, with all 92 people on board.
The Ghazi Attack trailer released today has raised the curiosity levels in the audience. Next month, the movie will hit the screen amid many expectations raised by The Ghazi Attack trailer.
