Mollywood hero Mohanlal to produce Rs 600 Crores big budget movie
Mollywood hero Mohanlal has all set to produce the big budget movie of his career with Rs 600 Crores.
The film will be based on MT Vasudevan Nair’s novel ‘Randamoozham’ meaning Second Turn. Mohanlal will be playing an important role in this movie.
The story is based on the Indian epic Mahabharatha from the perspective of Bhima.
The working of this film will commence from 2017 year end.
Mohan Lal’s recent film ‘PuliMurugan’ which was produced with a budget of Rs 25 Crores has collected Rs 100 Crores at the box office. It has also created a record of first highest collecting film in Mollywood.
Mohanlal aged 56 years has worked in the film industry for over 30 years and is planning to retire after this ambitious big project. He had worked in over 300 Malayalam films and for few films in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
He has bagged prestigious Padma Shri Award along with four National Film Awards. He was also awarded with several state and international awards for his contribution to film industry.
But before this ‘Randamoozham’ Mohanlal will be playing a lead role in B Unnikrishnan’s directorial debut film that will hit the screens in May 2017.
Mohanlal is currently busy with the shooting of his war movie 1971 – Beyond Broders, a part of Mohanlal’s Major Mahadevan Series. This war film is based on real events of 1971 India Pakistan war.
