North Korea warns Washington of firing rockets to US mainland

North Korea has escalated tensions with Washington as its Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho in his United Nations General Assembly speech said that Pyongyang’s firing of rockets at US mainland was inevitable.

Ri Yong Ho’s daring statement comes hours after US Air Force bombers flew off the coast of North Korea as a show of strength.

It also comes following US President Donald Trump dubbing North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un as “rocket man” to continue escalation of war of words between Washington and Pyongyang.

Ri Yong Ho stated: “Through such a prolonged and arduous struggle, now we are finally only a few steps away from the final gate of completion of the state nuclear force.

“It is only a forlorn hope to consider any chance that the DPRK (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea) would be shaken an inch or change its stance due to the harsher sanctions by the hostile forces.”

The North Korean Foreign Minister said that the ultimate goal of Pyongyang was to establish a balance of power with the US. He further said that Trump was on a suicide mission himself after the US President stated that the North Korean dictator was on such a mission.

Ri Yong Ho warned that North Korea is prepared to defend itself in case of any US aggression of carrying out a decapitating operation on its headquarters or a military strike against it.

We will have to see who will blink first and who will be the first to pull the trigger between North Korea and the US amid heightened war-mongering atmosphere in the Korean peninsula.
