Rahul Gandhi says Narendra Modi helped thieves convert black money to white

Rahul Gandhi, who is only days away from being crowned as the president of the Congress party, alleged on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies have helped the corrupt in converting their black money into white.

The Congress scion was addressing a public gathering in Dakor in Gujarat which along with other regions of the western state will go into the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017 on 14 December.

Rahul Gandhi also slammed the Prime Minister saying that he only talks about himself while turning a blind eye to both development and employment of the masses.

The Congress vice president will address three more public meetings at Banaskantha, Aravali and Gandhinagar, reports Zee News.

Rahul Gandhi continued his temple visiting spree in an attempt to project that the Congress party and the Gandhi family is not anti-Hindu by going to the Shree Ranchhodji temple in Dakor. He is also slated to visit the Shamlaji Temple.

The first phase of the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017 was wrapped up on Saturday which saw more than 68% voter turnout.

The Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017 results will be declared on 18 December. While the BJP is favourites to retain power despite holding it for 22 years, Congress is the underdog which could pull off a surprise.
