TDP senior leader Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu aged 71 passes away

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu aged 71 years died suddenly late on Tuesday night. He died at around 2:50 AM in a private hospital in Hyderabad.

Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu had held a cabinet post in the Ministry for Education, Forest and Higher Education. He was a popular politician who stuck to his principles and was elected for six terms to the State Assembly.

Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu moved out of TDP after some differences arose and contested with a Congress party ticket and won the election in 2004. But he later resigned from Congress and again joined TDP in 2008 and was elected to Andhra Pradesh Assembly in 2009.

Many TDP leaders and other politicians paid their last visit and offered their condolences to his family. He was joined to a private hospital two days ago with high fever and his condition worsened late on Tuesday due to Dengue fever.

His body will be taken to his native village Ramachandrapuram in Chittoor district and Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu last rites will be performed at his native village on Thursday afternoon.

Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu death shocked everyone and many are expressing their grief and sharing their experiences and memories with him.
